Settler's Days Activities


	Recommended Schedule When buses arrive at 10:00 am, children and their chaperones will receive a brief introduction and be split into class groups. Each group will begin a journey around the camp. The standard schedule includes two activities in the morning, a break for lunch, and then one activity in the afternoon. Buses usually depart around 1:15 pm. Teachers can choose from a wide variety of activities depending on the program.

The Cedar Ridge Camp Outdoor Education Program has been serving schools for years. We offer three basic programs:

  > High Ropes - Go
  > Low Ropes Course - Go

Most programs are offered year-round. Themed Outdoor Education programs are offered in the Spring, Fall and Winter and include the following:

Discovering Nature
Year-round, $7.95 per student
The Discovering Nature program is an outdoor adventure program designed to offer you students an immersion in nature. Through instruction and hands-on activities, children are stretched to try new things and improve outdoor skills. Our instructors have the knowledge and the spirit to make you day a wonderful experience.

Settler's Days
September to Thanksgiving, $7.95 per student
Settler's Days emphasizes traditional Fall activities. Each group is greeted by our friendly hosts, who dress up in period costumes to add flavor to the kids' nature experience. Settler's Days offer hands-on activities and camp crafts to immerse your students in outdoor learning. Our instructors strive to answer spontaneous questions and lead children through an experience they won't soon forget.

Holidays Around the World
Thanksgiving to Winter Break, $8.50 per student
Each year, Holidays Around the World has booked up solid! The program offers children an exciting experience in five different cultures and traditional holiday celebrations. Cedar Ridge is decorated for the season and each class offers the kids a treat or craft to take home. Come out and enjoy your holidays with Cedar Ridge!
